This is how many sunsets of wishing and wanting to reach into the past.


This is how many times the wound you left throbbed and bled

This is how many times Why? thundered through my head.

And,

This is how many moments I've thought of your face

This is how many times I've imagined your grace.
This is how many days I've woken in fear

This is how many nights I've looked for you here.

And yet,

This is how many ways you've changed me for the better

This is how many reasons I wanted to write you this letter.

This is how many good things about me you loved and knew

This is how many times I've whispered to the sky Thank you...

And so,

This is how many jokes recalled and hugs we shared

This is how many reminders of how much you cared.

This is how many smiles remembered, laughs with my Friend

This is how many reasons this isn't the end."

Yeah, I know this is my usual fare but I wanted to put something up in rememberance of all those that I miss.
